This year’s gathering delved into the latest trends in the research industry, offering workshops, trainings, meet-ups, and social events from Sunday to Wednesday.
The ESOMAR Congress provided an excellent networking platform to connect with insight and data professionals from around the world. Over the four days of the Congress, attendees enjoyed receptions, mixers, and evening events, including one at the Fabrique des Lumières. The annual general meeting was held for all ESOMAR members, followed by Monday’s Mixer and a special visit to the Heineken Brewery in Amsterdam.
Throughout the event, expert speakers from renowned companies like Meta, Philips, Mondelez, PepsiCo, Heineken, and leading researchers shared their insights on various topics, from innovative research techniques to sustainability and AI’s role in data-driven decision-making. Experts from De Beers, Haleon, Pearson, and FlexMR discussed how to foster insights-centric cultures within organizations to support informed decision-making. Ways to revamp brand measurement and enhance brand health tracking for companies were also discussed. One of the highlights of the Congress was the Research Got Talent Competition, featuring young and brilliant researchers who pitched their innovative ideas in just 60 seconds.
For the first time, ESOMAR live-streamed all the content at the Congress through ESOMAR TV and its platform, offering more than 1,500 registered online delegates to watch the presentations and engage in real-time discussions. Additionally, ESOMAR introduced a new onsite app, providing great networking opportunities such as setting up one-on-one or group meetings, matchmaking, viewing the program and exhibitors, and a social wall to post on.
